Nagaland is known for its untouched hills, tribal villages, and strong cultural roots. But there’s one event where the heart of Nagaland truly comes alive — the Hornbill Festival.
This grand festival is celebrated every year from 1st to 10th December at Kisama Heritage Village, near Kohima, the capital city. It is the biggest cultural event of Nagaland and is often called the “Festival of Festivals”.
