This Adi Kailash Ultra Marathon has a strong mission — to promote Vibrant Village Border Adventure Tourism and to encourage youth towards a healthy and drug-free life under the slogan “Say No To Drugs.”

The Adi Kailash Parikrama Ultra Marathon 2025 is the first-ever high-altitude ultra marathon in India, held in the sacred Himalayan region of Gunji–Jolingkong, located in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand.

🚐 How to Reach the Event Starting Point – Gunji

The starting point of Adi Kailash Parikrama Ultra Marathon 2025 is Gunji Village, a beautiful high-altitude Himalayan village located in Pithoragarh District of Uttarakhand, near the India–Nepal–Tibet border.

Currently, there are limited Alliance Air flights connecting Pithoragarh to Dehradun and Pantnagar.

There is no direct railway line to Gunji or Dharchula.
The nearest railway stations are Tanakpur and Kathgodam, both well-connected to major Indian cities.

From either Kathgodam or Tanakpur, you can take a shared cab or private taxi toward Pithoragarh → Dharchula → Gunji.
